The Goal
Increasing brand love and follower growth by creating entertaining short-form and live content.
My Role
I started as the dedicated community manager for Prime Video’s TikTok, keeping a finger on the pulse of trends, sentiment, and audience reactions. Using those insights, I concepted and created original video content, both from existing series/film footage and with creators in fresh, format-driven ideas. As the channel evolved, so did my role. I became the Content Creative, responsible for everything from research, scripting, and production to editing, posting, and copywriting. From behind-the-scenes to front-facing creative, I helped shape a channel that entertained and connected with its audience in real time.
The Achievements
Over 1,5 years, we gained +150K followers and went from 8.5M total likes to 12M total likes on TikTok. In 2021–2022, we pushed boundaries by pioneering TikTok livestreams for Prime Video, back when few brands dared. Highlights included Cooking with Techla & Amber, where creators reimagined recipes from Prime Video titles live, and Kingsday Live, a chaotic, crowd-pleasing game stream with rising stars Sam Kroon and Pieter Valley. We connected and interacted directly with existing and a new community. The Kingsday live reached +1.3M likes in just 1,5 hours!
